Drive Line Balance
Based on the increasingly high demand on drive comfort, Froude Hofmann developed a Drive Line Balance (DLB) System offers the possibility to balance the drive shaft of a completely assembled vehicle on a Roll Test Stand or on a dedicated test rig. The imbalance is measured by a non-contact measurement system and the automatic balancing unit removes or applies material, resulting in a balanced drive shaft.
Brake Inertia Dynamometer 
Besides of testing brake behaviour nowadays environmental simulation, noise and vibrations examinations are the most important factors in the recent brake development to fulfil the demand for more comfort. To meet the requirements of our customers, Froude Hofmann supply a wide range of Brake Inertia Dynamometers for passenger cars, light and heavy commercial vehicles, railway and aircraft applications.
Bennett Shifter Systems
 The Bennett Control is designed for trouble free shifting of automatic and power shift transmissions. Froude Hofmann design and manufacture the Bennett Control transmission shift systems that position the transmission selector shafts by air or hydraulic pressure precisely as the transmission manufacturer intended and provide positive feedback to the driver for range indication. Shifters are supplied to various markets depending on the requirement of the customer. They have been installed on buses, refuse trucks, concrete trucks, post-digging equipment, oil field equipment, timber trucks and airfield equipment just to name a few applications. The Bennett Control is available as standard or optional equipment from most truck and oil field equipment manufacturers. Spare parts are available from the truck manufacturers or our distributor network.
