Quality Audit - Vehicle
Although most vehicles are tested on roller test stands at the end of the production line to perform function and safety systems checks, a proportion also need to be tested in more controlled conditions to comply with regulatory requirements. These require the vehicle to be driven on a road simulation chassis dynamometer and include the following tests:
Exhaust emission compliance testing
- Fuel economy verification tests
- Power testing
- General driveability and quality checks under simulated operating conditions.
- Fault control and Trend analysis
Froude Hofmann road load simulation chassis dynamometers provide accurate “emission standard” testing. With the addition of a centralising device, the vehicle can be installed ready for test with the necessary speed and efficiency.
The chassis dynamometers are available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations with a range of optional equipment.
