The Froude Hofmann dragon boat team parcticpated in this years ‘Race The Dragon’ charity event, with 26 crews entering into the regatta, the pressure was on to improve on last years 6th place over all.
In our first race, we posted a time of 1m31, 20 seconds ahead of our race rivals, and the 2nd fastest overall heat time. We maintained focus throughout the remaining rounds and by a margin of 0.02 seconds, got into the Major Final, getting ourselves 3rd place over all in an extremely close final race, one of the closest Major Finals in memory.
