The Chassis Dynamometer, an "independent" 4x2 configuration with 2.5m Rolls uses sophisticated acoustic techniques to ensure a "low noise" solution of max. 50 dBA (at 100km/hr) performance in the test chamber.
It is fitted with acoustically treated drive shafts, specialized couplings, contoured acoustic seals and high performance AC motors to provide such an excellent level of attenuation with high accuracy control.
The 2 independent rollers provide clear access down the centre of the Chassis dynamometer underneath the test vehicle.
