Froude Hofmann would like to thank the many visitors to the Testing Expo N. America 2008 that visited our booth to discuss their testing requirements and see demonstrations of our latest products.
Froude Hofmann has implemented an aggressive development programme committing high investment to product and service development. The products at this show are the first manifestation of this investment. We have also invested in extending our global footprint with new Sales & Service centres established in China, Czech Republic, France, Australia & Brazil and are committed to exceeding our customer expectations of both product performance and customer support.
New products launched at the show :-
The NEW Automatic Robot Driver Mk III (3rd Generation) was operating under simulation control in the Mini Cooper. This display received a great deal of interest from potential customers impressed by the Hi-Tech design and features of the system.
The Mk 3 robot is designed for all Vehicle and Powertrain applications; it has been designed for very rapid installation, benefiting from high tech lightweight materials, a modular design and assembly and also benefits from minimal cabling. The system includes throttle, brake and clutch pedal actuation, full gearshift control (manual, automatic and semi automatic); ignition key switch actuator and optional pushbutton start operation. Applications include Emission, Endurance, Climatic and automated performance testing.
Genesis Control System
Genesis from Froude Hofmann provides the control system platform for Engine, Vehicle and Powertrain test applications. Features include:

The new Go Power GPS 6000 control system and DT-1000SG dynamometer engine and dynamometer stand with shaft guard were displayed at our booth. The DT-1000SG is designed for diesel engines up to 1000 lb ft of torque and 500 horsepower. The GPS-6000 system is based on DX100 technology and includes control software to provide load and throttle controls when used with the TMS-02 and can provide data acquisition up to 28 channels
Customer Service website www.froudeservice.com Is a brand new product that takes the form of a support site that contains an e-shop allowing customers to place orders on line for spares, previously owned equipment, maintenance packages, etc including the ability to request quotations. This was demonstrated on line, live at the show.
