Truck Chassis Dynamometers
In addition to the standard range of chassis dynamometers developed primarily for passenger car and light commercial vehicles, Froude Hofmann also provide a range of specialised systems that are custom designed and manufactured to meet with the exacting requirements demanded from our clients.
These include heavy-duty chassis dynamometers for testing commercial trucks, multi-axle vehicles and buses. These specialised machines bring a number of unique design challenges that Froude Hofmann have successfully met across emissions, endurance, low noise and climatic applications.
With the increased performance and physical size of the heavy duty test vehicles, special design consideration, gained from many years of practical experience, is applied to the safety and operation of these systems, including vehicle restraints and specialised lifts.
