TEXCEL V4
The Froude Hofmann Texcel V4 has been specifically designed for engine test
applications. Modular construction enables it to be used as a stand-alone
dynamometer controller or as a fully integrated engine and dynamometer control
system. The Texcel V4 will meet a diverse range of test requirements and can be
supplied as part of a package of Froude Hofmann test equipment or as an upgrade
to existing test cells.
The Texcel V4 family of digital controllers are available in four standard
versions:-
- EC - Eddy Current dynamometer controller.
- ECE - Eddy Current dynamometer and Engine controller.
- H - Hydraulic dynamometer controller.
- HE - Hydraulic dynamometer and Engine controller.
With quality of control and ease of use as key design parameters it
represents a major step forward in engine test technology. A significant
enhancement over traditional control systems is the inclusion of a text display
window that provides a clear indication of the engine and dynamometer's
operating condition.
