TEXCEL TX-21
The Tx21 Engine Throttle Actuator is designed to provide remote control of an engine throttle in conjunction with a Froude Hofmann engine test controller. The actuator comprises a printed circuit geared motor driving an operating lever through a torque-limiting clutch that is included to protect the engine throttle.
A position feedback signal is provided by a precision potentiometer driven by a toothed belt from the output shaft. A heavy duty Bowden flexible cable is supplied for the connection between the actuator and engine throttle. Alternatively a customer supplied direct linkage may be used.
The Tx21HS High Speed, Low Torque option is available for applications requiring fast throttle response.
