Engine Pallet Systems
The Froude engine pallet system provides a flexible, cost effective solution for installing the engine in a test cell. The pallet allows for three axis of independent adjustment enabling one size of pallet to accommodate a wide range of engines, making them ideally suited for test cells used to test a variety of engine types. The pallets are normally supplied complete with a separate floor mounted sub-frame that includes anti vibration mounts to locate it to the test cell floor and includes special alignment features and over centre clamps allowing for quick and accurate changeover of engines. By using several pallets in conjunction with one permanently installed sub-frame, engines can be pre-rigged external to the test cell thus reducing the engine change-out time to a minimum, giving greater utilisation of an individual test cell.
